A Polícia Militar de Rio Claro, em operação no bairro Araucária, conhecido pelo histórico de tráfico de entorpecentes, prendeu um homem em flagrante na tarde desta terça-feira. Durante o patrulhamento, os agentes da ROCAM notaram o comportamento suspeito de um rapaz que tentou fugir ao avistar a equipe policial. Sem sucesso, ele foi abordado e revistado, e com ele foram encontrados diversos entorpecentes.
Segundo informações da polícia, o suspeito carregava na cintura cinco sacos com 30 eppendorfs de cocaína cada, totalizando 150 unidades. Ao continuar as buscas na área e em seu entorno, os policiais localizaram mais 300 eppendorfs, além de R$ 1.000 em dinheiro. Um menor de idade também foi identificado no local, envolvido na ocorrência.
Diante dos fatos, o adulto foi preso em flagrante e encaminhado à Central de Polícia Judiciária, onde permaneceu à disposição da Justiça. Já o menor foi ouvido pela autoridade policial e liberado aos cuidados de sua mãe.
A ação reflete a continuidade do trabalho da PM no combate ao tráfico de drogas na cidade, especialmente em áreas críticas como o bairro Araucária, que já é alvo de operações frequentes devido à sua alta incidência de atividades criminosas.
