São Paulo FC e SE Palmeiras entram em campo na noite desta quarta-feira (30), no estádio do Morumbi, às 21h40, para a disputa do primeiro jogo das finais do Campeonato Paulista Série A1 2022.
Atual campeão estadual, o Tricolor Paulista quer repetir o feito do ano passado e levantar o título em cima do rival Palmeiras, novamente. Para isso, terá de superar o quase imbatível sistema defensivo palmeirense que sofreu apenas 4 gols em todo o campeonato, até o momento.
O técnico Rogério Ceni espera poder colocar em campo o que o São Paulo FC tem de melhor no elenco. O atacante Luciano, segundo maior goleador do São Paulo contra o Palmeiras, na década, tem presença confirmada. Por outro lado, o técnico Abel Ferreira, do Palmeiras, está na expectativa quanto à liberação pelo departamento do clube, do volante Danilo e do goleiro Weverton, ambos machucados. Caso não possam ser aproveitados, Abel tem como opções Marcelo Lomba para o gol e Jaílson na posição de volante.
Será o 19º. confronto direto e decisivo entre o Tricolor e o Verdão. A vantagem nesse quesito é do São Paulo FC com 14 êxitos contra apenas 4 do Palmeiras. Porém, no mais recente duelo decisivo entre as equipes, deu Palmeiras, nas quartas de finais da Copa Libertadores da América, ano passado.
Para apitar São Paulo x Palmeiras na noite de hoje, a Federação Paulista de Futebol escalou o árbitro Douglas Marques das Flores, o mesmo que apitou no último domingo (27), o dérbi entre Velo Clube x Rio Claro FC. O segundo jogo das finais do Paulistão, será arbitrado pelo experiente Rafael Claus.
