A seleção brasileira feminina de futebol entra em campo às 21 horas desta terça-feira (26) para decidir com o Paraguai, uma vaga na final da Copa América de Futebol Feminino que está sendo disputada na Colômbia. A outra semifinal aconteceu na noite de ontem, entre Colômbia e Argentina.
Uma vitória sobre as paraguaias, vale também vaga na Copa do Mundo do próximo ano, que será disputada na Austrália e na Nova Zelândia, e na Olimpíada de Paris em 2024.
A campanha irretocável do Brasil, até o momento, coloca a equipe como grande favorita diante do Paraguai. Na primeira fase da competição, o Brasil venceu os 4 jogos que disputou. Fez 4×0 na Argentina, na estreia, derrotou na sequência o Uruguai por 3×0, depois a Venezuela por 4×0 e o finalmente o Peru por 6×0, o que lhe valeu na primeira fase, o primeiro lugar do grupo B. Ao todo, o Brasil marcou 17 gols e não sofreu nenhum.
A seleção paraguaia, adversária do Brasil na semifinal, tem campanha inferior. Em 4 jogos, venceu 3 e perdeu 1. Fez 9 gols e sofreu 7, terminando em 2º. lugar no grupo A, na primeira fase.
