A Diocese de Piracicaba inicia nesta semana uma sequência de 22 posses de novos párocos e a apresentação de um vigário em paróquias de toda região. As celebrações concretizam as transferências anunciadas, em outubro de 2021, pelo bispo diocesano Dom Devair Araújo da Fonseca.
Ao todo, 21 paróquias em oito cidades da Diocese passarão a ser conduzidas por novos párocos até o dia 20 de fevereiro. As posses canônicas serão presididas por Dom Devair, conforme cronograma abaixo. Haverá ainda a apresentação do vigário para a Paróquia Menino Jesus de Praga, em Piracicaba.
Quando realizou o anúncio das transferências, em outubro do ano passado, Dom Devair destacou que todas as mudanças têm motivação pastoral e visam o bem do povo de Deus confiado a ele como bispo da Diocese. “Independentemente da situação ou do motivo específico de cada mudança, o objetivo final é sempre auxiliar e favorecer a caminhada de fé das pessoas em nossas comunidades.”
As transferências são parte do trabalho que vem sendo realizado desde janeiro de 2021, quando Dom Devair tomou posse como bispo e buscou conhecer “as diferentes realidades e necessidades da Igreja em cada comunidade”, conforme ele ressaltou.
