Agentes de trânsito, policiais militares, guardas municipais e membros da Defesa Civil realizaram na sexta-feira (2) barreiras sanitárias para orientar e esclarecer a população sobre as restrições na pandemia.
“Fizemos orientações a 670 pessoas e 42 pessoas foram qualificadas”, informa Rodrigo Gonçalves, comandante da Guarda Civil Municipal. “Estas qualificações serão enviadas à Secretaria de Saúde, que vai verificar se cabe multa a estas pessoas que foram qualificadas”, explica o comandante.
As barreiras foram feitas na Avenida Presidente Kennedy, na Avenida Brasil e na Avenida Ulysses Guimarães. As barreiras também serão realizadas neste domingo em pontos ainda não divulgados.
O decreto de restrições publicado no dia 26 de março se estende até às 8 horas de segunda-feira (5) e prevê multa para pedestres e motoristas que estiverem circulando em desacordo com as regras do decreto.

As medidas mais restritivas adotadas pelo município de Rio Claro para este fim de semana incluem o fechamento dos postos de combustíveis no domingo (4). Na segunda-feira (5), voltarão ao funcionamento normal. O transporte de ônibus urbano está suspenso até às 8 horas de segunda-feira (5).
COVID
Com mais quatro mortes registradas, Rio Claro tem total de 308 óbitos por Covid-19 desde o início da pandemia, conforme boletim divulgado na sexta-feira (2) pela Secretaria Municipal de Saúde. Os óbitos mais recentes são de dois homens e de dois idosos.
O sistema de saúde, público e particular, continua sobrecarregado e a taxa de ocupação de leitos é de 111%. Há 175 pessoas internadas, sendo 81 em UTI. Sem novos casos registrados no boletim nas últimas 24 horas, o número de positivos permanece em 11.309. Até o momento, em Rio Claro, 10.026 pessoas se recuperaram da Covid.
A Secretaria de Saúde tem trabalhado para oferecer o melhor atendimento possível a todos que precisam, porém o sistema de saúde continua atendendo acima de sua capacidade. Para reverter a situação, que em todo País vem se agravando a cada dia, as pessoas precisam ter consciência de sua responsabilidade. Cada um deve fazer a sua parte para o melhor de todos. Uso de máscara, higienização frequente das mãos e distanciamento social são fundamentais para evitar a infecção pelo coronavírus e sua transmissão.
