A cadeia de produtos artesanais do estado de São Paulo ganhou um selo de certificação que garante, para além da segurança de consumo, o alto valor agregado dos produtos artesanais.
Por meio de portaria da Defesa Agropecuária paulista e da Coordenadoria de Desenvolvimento dos Agronegócios, a Secretaria Estadual de Agricultura e Abastecimento concedeu, na segunda-feira (2/9), o selo para todos os estabelecimentos artesanais reconhecidos pelo Serviço de Inspeção de São Paulo (Sisp). O lançamento ocorreu em Campinas, durante a celebração dos 26 anos da Defesa Agropecuária do Estado de São Paulo.
O Selo de Qualidade dos Produtos Artesanais de São Paulo será composto por quatro dígitos, seguindo uma ordem sequencial e cronológica de obtenção do registro de produto junto ao Centro de Inspeção de Produtos de Origem Animal (Cipoa). A iniciativa visa incentivar o desenvolvimento da cadeia produtiva dos produtos artesanais, concedendo o selo de forma gratuita. O selo pode ser incorporado ao rótulo comercial do produto artesanal.
“Criamos o selo para atender aos produtores artesanais paulistas, que são os que mais precisam de reconhecimento e certificação. Uma medida como essa garante maior rentabilidade, quando chancelamos o valor desse tipo de produção”, observa o secretário de Agricultura e Abastecimento, Guilherme Piai.
Enquanto o registro no Sisp oficializou a profissionalização dos produtores artesanais, gerando novas oportunidades de mercado, o selo de qualidade deve agregar valor aos produtos, destacando a alta qualidade empreendida nos artesanais.
