Kevin Zannoni (Ongetta SIC58 Squadracorse) conquistou a pole position para o Grande Prêmio da Áustria de MotoE. O italiano fez a sua melhor volta em 1:38.567 minutos, batendo Mattia Casadei (HP Pons Los40) por 23 milésimos, com o brasileiro Eric Granado (LCR E-Team) em terceiro, a 53 milésimos.
Matteo Ferrari vai partir do quarto lugar para as duas corridas do fim de semana, com Hikari Okubo assegurando o quinto posto. Hector Garzó sairá da sexta posição, com Miquel Pons em sétimo e Jordi Torres em oitavo. Kevin Manfredi e Randy Krummenacher completam o top-10.
A corrida Sprint começa às 7h15 deste sábado e a principal tem início agendado para às 11h15, com transmissão da ESPN e Star+.
