A prefeitura de Santa Gertrudes abriu consulta pública on-line para ouvir a população do município sobre a elaboração da LOA (Lei Orçamentária Anual), referente ao exercício de 2024. Os munícipes poderão apresentar sugestões e propostas sobre as demandas e necessidades do município. Para isso, basta preencher questionário on-line que pode ser acessado pelo site https://www.santagertrudes.sp.gov.br/
O governo municipal convida a população para participar e contribuir com a sua opinião, ajudando a definir as prioridades de investimentos. De acordo com a prefeitura, através da consulta pública e participação popular, “a administração municipal irá conhecer e compreender melhor as necessidades da sociedade, podendo assim qualificar os serviços ofertados”.
Anualmente, as prefeituras devem elaborar seu orçamento e como ele será distribuído através da LOA, uma lei que estima as receitas e fixa as despesas públicas para o ano seguinte. Nela está contido um planejamento de gastos que define as obras e os serviços que são prioritários para o município, levando em conta os recursos disponíveis.
A LOA é elaborada com base nas diretrizes apontadas no Plano Plurianual (PPA) e Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias (LDO). Conforme a Lei Orgânica de Santa Gertrudes, o projeto de lei da LOA deve ser enviado à Câmara Municipal para análise e votação até o dia 30 de setembro de cada ano e devolvido para sanção do prefeito até 15 de dezembro.
