Os fãs de automobilismo tiveram na Inglaterra a 30ª edição de um evento sem igual: o Festival da Velocidade (Festival of Speed), em Goodwood.
Desde 2010, o Festival of Speed é um evento de quatro dias que arrasta mais de 150.000 pessoas, apresentado por Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, o duque de Richmond, na propriedade rural de sua família, com área de 50 km2 (12.000 acres), incluindo uma mansão construída em 1616.
Este ano, foi realizado de quinta a domingo, entre os dias 13 e 16 de julho, no condado de West Sussex.
Além dos veículos de competição clássicos, o evento é marcado pela exposição de carros atuais, tecnologias, eventos com pilotos, apresentação de novos veículos de competição e de rua e até lançamentos na pista.
