A temporada 2023 do Mundial de Endurance tem sua primeira etapa marcada para o dia 17 de março, as 1000 Milhas de Sebring, e agora o brasileiro André Negrão viverá nas próximas semanas a expectativa do evento depois de ter finalizado o último teste com a equipe Alpine antes das atividades oficiais da abertura do campeonato.
O treino, realizado na pista portuguesa de Portimão, foi de grande valia para André e para o time, tanto para experimentar os pneus Goodyear no já conhecido carro Oreca 07, quanto para fazer seus novos trios de pilotos ganharem entrosamento.
Em 2023, os carros 35 e 36 da Alpine terão quatro novos pilotos e dois remanescentes do projeto da equipe na Hypercar em 2022.
Os pilotos que ficam são André Negrão e o francês Matthieu Vaxiviere, um no carro 35 e outro no 36, respectivamente. André terá como companheiros o britânico Olli Caldwell e o mexicano Memo Rojas no 35. Vaxiviere correrá ao lado de seus compatriotas Julien Canal e Charles Milesi no 36.
Apesar do pouco tempo de testes, Negrão avaliou que o trabalho desenvolvido no treino foi bastante positivo. “No geral nosso treino foi ótimo. Foi uma readaptação à guiada do LMP2, com esses pneus novos sem a carga aerodinâmica a que eu estava acostumado”, iniciou o brasileiro, que também enalteceu seus novos parceiros.
“Meus novos companheiros são muito bons, muito profissionais e o trabalho deles me surpreendeu”, destacou.
