O município de Rio Claro registrou nesta semana mais um óbito de idoso causado por Covid=19. Com isso, o total de mortes subiu para 664 desde o início da pandemia de coronavírus. Os dados constam de boletim divulgado na tarde desta sexta-feira (5) pela Fundação Municipal de Saúde.
Além do óbito, o município registrou 46 novos casos da doença nesta semana, totalizando 32.247 infecções. Dos casos confirmados, 31.435 pessoas estão recuperadas. No momento, a taxa de ocupação de leitos é de 3%, com uma pessoa hospitalizada em enfermaria e uma em UTI.
O Brasil registrou até 4 de agosto 33.964.494 de casos de Covid-19 e 679.536 mortes por complicações associadas à doença no mesmo período. Os dados foram divulgados pelo Ministério da Saúde na quinta-feira (4). De acordo com a pasta, até essa data, havia 641.801 casos em acompanhamento. Outras 32.643.157 pessoas se recuperaram da Covid-19, o que corresponde a 96% dos infectados desde o início da pandemia.
Vacinação
Rio Claro aplicou 523.975 doses de vacina contra a Covid-19 desde o início da campanha de vacinação. Percentualmente, 93,91% da população rio-clarense recebeu ao menos uma dose de vacina contra a Covid-19. O percentual de pessoas que tomaram duas doses ou dose única é de 85,82% da população.
